Position Overview: Waste Management is currently seeking applications for the position of Trash Collector. As a Trash Collector, you will play a vital role in the efficient collection and disposal of waste materials. This position requires operating garbage trucks, collecting and dumping trash receptacles, and following designated route assignments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate garbage trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with company guidelines and traffic laws.
• Collect trash receptacles from residential and commercial locations.
• Empty trash receptacles into the garbage truck, ensuring proper disposal.
• Follow assigned routes as directed by supervisors.
• Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on garbage trucks to ensure proper functionality.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate collection activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate garbage trucks and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy trash receptacles repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Previous experience in waste management or a related field is preferred but not required.
